The Mediterranean region is a hotbed for climate change, facing numerous challenges within its food systems. FrontAg Nexus aims to address these challenges by introducing climate-smart and water-saving technologies. On October 4 & 5, FrontAg Nexus is taking its mission a step further by participating in the Synergy Days event in Thessaloniki, Greece. The project will share a booth with INCiTis FOOD, another EU-funded initiative with aligned objectives.

INCiTis-FOOD: A Perfect Partner

INCiTis-FOOD, a project involving 24 partners across 14 countries in Europe and Africa, aims to improve food and nutrition security in African city regions. The project focuses on soilless crop farming, recirculating aquaculture systems, and insect farming—technologies that align perfectly with FrontAg Nexus’ objectives. The partnership between the two projects promises to be a fruitful endeavor, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.

Synergy Days: A Pathway for Collaboration

Synergy Days is an event that marks the transformation of the EU project SmartAgriHubs into a self-sustaining community. The event aims to build cooperation between stakeholders from the agri-food sector who are ready to push forward the link between agri-food and digital. FrontAg Nexus and INCiTis-FOOD will have a common booth at the event, providing an excellent opportunity for both projects to showcase their innovative solutions.
